Funny enough i didn't even know about the donut shop across the street until i walked out of the hotel and saw it... i think that i was in such a daze the first night between setup and everything that i completely forgot to get my bearings...
i found the doughnut place on the last day, there's also a stop & shop around the corner (we ran there, grabbed a birthday cake for a friend and then walked back- running with cake is no bueno)
They have like a box at costco for 9.99 theres like a pomagranate Lemon in a ruby berry grapefruit rind amd a passion fruit type on in a tiny orange rind amd a lemon berry type one in a lemon rind amd this coconut one pictured in the coconut shell
How is available hotel room stock right now out of curiosity? My roommate and I have been in the process of looking for a new apt so we have been playing attending FP by ear.

I might be throwing money away but I always get the monthly AppleCare subscription for my iPhone and iPad instead of the two years up front. It’s come in handy on the tablet when my dog scratched the screen, and the theft and loss option for the phone is good peace of mind.
I’ve looked at those but I just wasn’t impressed by the tactile feedback of the keys. It felt mushy to me.

This on the other paw is the same scissor keys as on the MacBooks and magic keyboards. Same travel depth and responsiveness. Life changing since I use this iPad for all my computing.
Mhm and it seemed all better last week then yesterday it's back for a rebound. The only good part about getting it now is I get three months of immunity, so I don't need to worry about getting it through mid November

Im really sad about this year's booking. Been going to furpoc since 2017, this will be my first time not going. Ive been trying to drag as much people with me every year, but this one will be different, none of us will go since the Armon Booking doesn't let Canadians book.

You gotta admit though, nature documentaries in the 90s shone hyenas in a bad light, too. They were always the evil gangs who would steal the food from the starving lions. Not like today when you see videos all over of how intelligent and adorable they are
It really is a shame though. I know when they were creating that new Lion King show they made it a point to have hyenas as protagonists and friends of the main characters. Even at the end of the series their antagonist hyenas came around and became hesitant friends.

I’m really glad there are furs in teaching positions. Makes me wonder how many furs are in political positions. I know there’s quite a few furs who are psychologists and mental health professionals which has lead to fascinating conversations on why furries exist.

The hardest part is developing an idea for what research needs to be done and how to prove whatever it is you're trying to show. And finding out whats important is another giant hurdle that requires experience
I miss working retail. Yeah the hours were crap and the pay was bad, but I loved the chaos.
